  What’s New  ???? 


  • Parish Collections: Our Finance Council  met recently to review the halfway mark of our Fiscal year.

Collections (6months) $ 201,000.00

Annual Budget               440,000.00

We hope to make up the deficit in the next 6 months. Thank you for your generosity.

  • St. Blaise/Blessing of Throats: This feast day is on February 3rd and will be observed on Monday at all the Novena Masses and Services.

  • Super Bowl Sunday: There will be NO 7:00 PM Mass on Sunday, February 2nd

Please make note of this.

  • 25th & 50th Wedding Anniversary Mass: Are you celebrating your 25th or 50th Anniversary? Please call the Rectory at 570-342-5166 with your information so that you can be included in a special Mass on Sunday, June 14th at the Cathedral with the Most Rev. Bishop Bambera. A reception will follow.

  • 2019 Financial Statements: Statements for the 2019 calendar year are available on request by calling the Rectory office at 570-342-5166.Please note that statements will only be mailed to those who request it.

  • St. Ann Basilica Cookbooks and Aprons: Great gift idea. Get yours in the Rectory or Shrine Gift Shop. Cookbook $15.00 Apron $20.00.

·       St. Ann Food Pantry: The pantry hours are the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM.

·       All Saints Academy: For children (Preschool – grade 7) come join us on Tuesday, February 4th from 9 am to 1 pm to see what we have to offer. Spend the time in stimulating activities. Lunch is provided. Call (570) 343-8114 to inquire.

·       Adoration: Every First Friday in the Basilica (main church). Begins with Rosary at 9:00 AM and continues throughout the day with quiet meditation. Benediction at 4:00 PM. It will move to the lower church in case of a funeral.

·       Prayer Line: For information or prayer  

requests,  call Carol at 562-3745.

·       Legion of Mary: Meet on Mondays in the

Shrine at 6:30 PM. All are welcome. Call Dori at 343-7373 or Theresa at 687-5329.
